MOTOR CYCLE MISHAP.
PILLION RIDER INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OPOTIKI, this day. While riding a motor cycle yesterday afternoon on the Opotiki-Whakatane Road a young man named H. Burgess met with a mishap. It ie understood that a young woman was a pillion paseenger and received severe bruises on the leg and body besides being rendered unconscious. Later she was removed to her home.
