RICHEST FILM STAR.
CHAPLIN'S GREAT WEALTH. LOS ANGELES, July 8. The county assessor has answered one of Hollywood's great questions, namely, who is fllmdom's richest celebrity. The assessment roll reveals that it is Charles Chaplin. The comedian possesses taxable stocks and bonds valued at about £1,537,314, cash and solvent credits totalling about £59,120, and a motor car worth about £154.
