STREET PARKING
CARS LEFT WITHOUT LIGHTS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Friday. Several motorists were prosecuted in the Magistrate's Court to-day for leaving cars unlighted at night in streets. They pleaded ignorance of the rcgulaThe magistrate, Mr. Wyvern Wilson, said motorists, when leaving their cars in the streets at night, were required to have them lighted with two parking litrhte and a tail light. There were two exceptions to the rule. One applied when cars were left in a place which was adequately illuminated by a etreet lamp, and the other was when the cars were left ir a etreet set aside for parkin" by the local authority. As the prosecutions were the first of their kind for eome time, the defendants would be fined 5/ and costs.
