GERMANY AND ENGLAND.
It its reported that many people in Germany are in favour of the restoration of monarchy. If Germany, instead of again seeking to become a sovereign Power, would offer to unite as one nation wiih ICngltind, provided she had complete autonomy in regard to internal government, and England agreed to such a proposal, it would, in the writer's opinion, be the finest thing that could happen for both nations, and might ultimately load to the federation of all the nations of Europe with our Royal Family as the head of the federation.
