WRESTLING.

WILSON'S BOUT WITH WALKER. Wellington critics regard George Wilson as a wrestling "find," as a result of his display against George Walker in that city last Monday when the Canadian defeated the former by twofalk to one in a very spectacular and exciting contest. Walker took the first fall with a toehold, but was then bowled over by a series of shoulder tficklcs, which enabled Wilson to even the score. In attempting to finish the match Wilson tried further tackles, but went through the ropes and off the stage, to return to the ring very groggy and be pinned for the deciding fall. The bout was packed with action from start to finish, and a packed house acclaimed both men. The Auckland association has arranged a return bout, which will be staged at the Town Hall on Monday evening, when fans will_ be able to see the local idol pitted against the tough American. The amateurs engaged for the preliminaries to the Walker-Wilson professional wrestling bout at the Town Hal! on Monday evening are:—A. Kissin, 7.13 (Takapuna); C. Jones, 8.3 (Manurewa); W Jackson, 10.0 (Naylor's Gym.): A. WaiHi 10.2 (Sunshine Gym.); B. White, 30 12" (Otahuhu); S. Lipscombe, 10.12 (Onehunga); 11. Way, ]I.S (Eden Gym. ; M \ntonovich, ll.fi (Gardners Gym.); S ' Lloyd, 12.0 (Taylor's Gym.); K. Kenneth, 11.6 (Y.M.C.A.).
