CAR DRIVER KILLED.
COLLISION WITH A LORRY. WIFE SUFFERS SEVERE SHOCK. (By Tolegrnph.— Press Association.) PALMERSTON X., Thursday. Fatal results attended a collision between a four-ton lorry and n light car which occurred to-night on the main highway near Tinkitnhuna. seven miles from P'nlmerston North. The driver of (he small car, Mr. <!. K. Forrest, of Palinerston North, w;;s killed. Mis wife, who was in the car, suffered severe shock and a cut on the forehead. The impact sent the ear spinning and it finally came to rest on it* side, with the driver lying partly on the bitumen road. Tho lorry was only scratched.
