TRUE ENOUGH.

(Sent in by Peggy Ruaiie.)

There was a grocer named March. One day a commercial traveller came into his shop and said: "March, on the first of April the price of tea is going up."

"I'm sorry to hear that," replied March. A few days later a wholesale salesman came in and said: "March, on the first of April the price of sugar is going up."

"I'm sorry to hear that," said March. Later on the landlord came in and said: "March, on the first of April I must put the rent up."

"I'm sorry to hear that," said March. Then he put up this sign in his window: "The first of April will be the end ol March."
