GLEN INNES APPEAL.
SUSPENSION OF PLAYER UPHELD
The case of the suspension ' for two weeks of a Glen Innes player for a breach of discipline in the senior match with Thistle, for which a player of the latter club was also dealt with, being reprimanded, was reopened last night bet ore the judicial committee in consequence,ol an appeal by the Glen Innes Club on the "rounds of fresh evidence.. Probably for the first time in the history of the code counsel appeared in such proceedings and conducted the Glen Innes case. Alter hearing several witnesses and a statement on behalf of the player, the members of the committee, Messrs. W. Grant, J. McDougall and F. C. Jacobs,, decided that they saw no reason to their finding. The decision was later confirmed by the Control Board.
