I met Rebecca West at lunch the other day, writes a correspondent, and was struck again by the beauty of her voice. Both ehe and her sister, Dr. Letitia Fairfleld, have that very desirable quality in a, woman—a lovely epeaking voice. Personally, I think there are few things more attractive. Dr. Maud Royden, the famoue woman preacher, is another possessor of an exquisitely modulated voice.
