BARTER IN ENGLAND.
The barter system is rapidly extending in England, writes our correspondent, and one manufacturer of radio sets has announced that ho is prepared to sell his wares for goods instead of cash.' His butcher, for example, may tender him an agreed supply of meat and his greengrocer an adequate number of cabbages and cauliflowers in order to avail themselves of the amenities of a radio apparatus.
