WEDDINGS OF THE DAY.

RUTLED GE—MARSH ALL. Miss Ivy Margaret Marsha]!, only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Marshall, of Kawakawa, North Auckland, made a charming bride when she became the wife of Mr. J. M. Rutledge on Wednesday evening, Jime S. The ceremony took place at St. David's Church, Khyber Pass, and the Rev. B. Black officiated. The service was fully choral, the solo "My Prayer," being rendered by Miss Gutry. The bride wore a beautiful frock of parchment georgette, made on classic lines. Chantilly Jace goc'jts and sleeves enhanced the effect. A parchment lace veil was attached to the head with clusters of orange blossom, and formed a graceful train. She carried an armlet sheaf of exquisite blooms. The bridesmaid, Miss Mae Baulcomb, wore briar rose pink georgette frock, encrusted with lovere' knots of crystal beads, and small coatee to tone. Pink ballibuntal straw hat and shower bouquet of roses completed an attractive ensemble. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. R. H. Marshall, and the best man was Mr. V. Bass. The reception was held at the Gaiety Hall, the tables looking artistic in winter flowers. The hostesses were Mrs. L. Rusk, the bride's aunt, who wore opalesque blue marocain, and hat to tone, and Mrs. C. McCarthy, bridegroom's sister, wearing black satin beaute and small hat.
