Eight Killed and Many Injured By Explosion and Fire. DRAMATIC ESCAPES. (Received 10.30 n.ni.) CLEVELAND (Ohio). June 7. A number of persons were killed and injured when trapped in a mysterious explosion, followed by a lire, in an apartment building early this morning. One woman was killed outright and soon after the explosion II men and women, seriously injured, were admitted to hospital. Dozens of people were rescued by firemen. Eight are. known to be dead and two are missing. Four bodies have been brought out and four others were sighted by firemen. The chief of the lire brigade believes there are two more bodies. There were about .'SO burned or injured, while the rest of the 200 residents were saved in dramatic escapes.
