RELIEF RATIONS.

In reply to E. Stewart, I would like to state I had an order for groceries valued at 5/. That amount only entitles you to tea and sugar and a few rolled oat's. As our living is practically on bread and butter, I asked for 21b of butter and was told I was entitled only to l.Ub. I also asked for some split peas, as I bad bought one pennyworth ofi bones at a meat mart and intended to make some soup, but I was refused split peas. RELIEF WORKER.
