Extra heavy prime steers ranged in price from £7 5/ to £7 12/6; heavy, £0 10/ to £7 2/0; lighter, £5 5/ to £6 7/6; light, £4 10/ to £5 2/6; small and unfinished, £2 10/ to £4 7/6. Extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £4 5/ to £4 15/; heavy, £3 10/ to £4 2/6; lighter, £2 10/ to £3 7/6; others, £1 10/ to £2 7/6.
