(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
DUNEDIX, this day.
A meeting held this evening regarding the Government's decision to close the Dunedin Training College decided to inform the Minister of Education, the Hon. R. Masters, that the decision was causing the deepest concern and that the people of Otago and Southland would leave no stone unturned to save the college. It was further decided that the Minister be asked to forward immediately figures on which the Cabinet's decision to close the college was based.
