FOUR YOUTHFUL DRIVERS
TWENTY-FIVE CHARGES,
THEFT AND CONVERSION.

DUNEDIN, this day.
Four youths were charged to-day with theft and the conversion of motor cars. The police said there were twenty-five charges extending over the months of April and May. On April 27 a man named Frost was killed by a car which had been converted by some person unknown. The four accused were a' l expert drivers, and all speed fiends. The magistrate said they had been engaged in a perfect orgy of offences relating to motor cars. Three were committed to the Borstal Institute for two years, and the fourth admitted to probation for two years.
