BIG STRUGGLE ENDS.
American Congress Completes Compromise Tax Bill. 1,118,500,000-DOLLAR MEASURE. (Received 10.30 a.m.) WASHINGTON, June 6. The United States Senate on Monday accepted the compromise Tax Bill, thereby completing Congressional action and sending it to President Hoover for signature. By adopting the report of the conference between members of the two Houses and adjusting the differences with the House of Representatives, the Senate has ended the intense struggle that was waged in connection with the 1,118,500,000 dollars Bill.
Mr. Hoover signed the bill late this afternoon.
