NINETY-FIVE HOURS.

MARATHON DANCING RECORD. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. The New Zealand marathon dancing record is riow held by Miss Winnie O'Connor and Mr. Len Blackburn, who at 11 o'clock on Saturday evening completed 95 hours' continuous dancing. They were cheered by a large crowd. The first marathon dance record established was 70 hours 30 minutes, but by noon on Saturday the remnant of the IS couples who started on May 31, had completed S4 hours. After 94 hours the competition between the two remaining couples was close, and all looked comparatively fresh, but 45 minutes later one of the men collapsed, leaving Mr. Blackburn and his partner to finish.
