FRUITLESS SEARCH.
MISSING GERMAN FLYERS
MELBOURNE, May 27,
A message from Darwin states that one of the West Australian Airways seaplanes which is patrolling the northern coastline for traces of the German flyers missing on the Timor sea crossing, conducted a search of the coast from Wyndham to Darwin. Later the three aviators manned the 'plane and diligently searched Bathurst and Melville Islands.
Their efforts were unsuccessful, and the searchers returned to Wyndham this evening.
