OPTIMISTIC OUTLOOK.
LASTING EESULTS OF OTTAWA. MONTREAL, May 27. An optimistic outlook for the Empire Economic Conference was voiced by Lord Beaverbrook, Canadian-born peer and owner of the "Daily Express," who visited Montreal to-day. "Not only will the Ottawa Conference achieve fine results," 6aid Lord Beaverbrook, "but they will be lasting ones. More than that, I expect to see their effect almost immediately after the conference is over."
