HOPE DISPELLED.
Vain Search for Survivors of Philippar Wreck. SHORES OF SOMALILAND. (Becelved 10 a.m.) PARIS, May 27. Hopes that some of the 58 missing passengers from the wreck of the French liner Georges Philippar may have landed on the African coast were dispelled by the Italian Government's announcement that the search of the ehores of Somaliland was fruitless.
