WEDDING "OFF."
FEAST AS USUAL. BRISGEGROOM WITHDRAWS. FOUR HUNDRED GUESTS PRESENT. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBORNE, this day. • Although the banns had been read find full arrangements made, a native wedding on the East Coast this week tlid not eventuate. The day before the wedding day the bridegroom disappeared. His relatives searched and found him and brought him back, but at the service the bridegroom got Tip and said he was not going to marry, and he left.
Guests numbering 400 were present, and it was decided to carry on the feast,' for which elaborate preparations had been made.
