UNEMPLOYED CARPENTERS.
FIVE HUNDRED ON RELIEF. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent) DUNEDIN, this day. More than 500 members of the Amalgamated Society of Carpenters and Joiners are at present on relief work in and around Dunedin. The number includes many who are admittedly amongst the very best craftsmen in New Zealand, and not a- few who are getting up in years.
