CHURCH PRESENTATION.

MT. ALBERT PRESBYTERIANS. FAREWELL TO MINISTER, A social meeting to mark the close of the Rev. Morrison Sutherland's ministry in Mount Albert during the past eight years, was held last night in the church hall. Mr. D. Henry presided over an enthusiastic gathering which filled the hall. He and several other speakers paid a high tribute to Mr. Sutherland, and referred to the growth of the congregation that had taken place, and of the impressions he had made by his preaching. Mr. J. C. Entrican presented Mr. Sutherland with a substantial cheque voluntarily subscribed for by the members, and Mrs. Cochrane presented Mrs. Sutherland with handsome gifts from the ladies' of the congregation.

Mr. and Mrs. Sutherland are leaving on an extended holiday.
