Only moderate supplies of eggs came to hand this week, and tile demand was fair. Quotations are: —Hen eggs: First grade, 2/4% per dozen; B grade, 1/11%; C grade, 1/8%. Duck eggs: First grade, 2/0%; B grade, 1/10%; C grade, 1/8%. Farmers' butter is quoted at Sd to lid per lb. Poultry. At to-day's auctions the supply of poultry was medium and the demand was fair. The prices paid remain about level. Selling rates were as follows: —Cockerels: Heavy breeds, prime 2/i) to 4/9 each, not prime 1/6 up; light breeds, prime 1/6 to 3/, not prime 1/ up.
