RUGBY FOOTBALL.
SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP.
LEADERS MEET TO-MORROW,
GREAT TUSSLE ANTICIPATED
At Eden Park to-morrow afternoon Ponsonby tackles Grammar Schools' Old Boys, the Auckland senior champions. A splendid game is bound to be provided, as they are the only unbeaten fifteens in ■tlie competition. To counter-balance Grammars superior weight in the serum, 1 onsonby with its "three-four" formation will have the advantage of an experienced player in Solomon as a support to his rearguard. Grafton and 'Varsity supply the curtain-raiser, and the students will have to go a good deal better than last Saturday to cope with the Graftonians after their victory over Manukau at Onehunga.
lhe remaining flutter at headquarters is the meeting of Training College (back from vacation) and Marist, who now look like being one of the hardest sides to beat.
