AT OLYMPIA.
ROYALTY AT TOURNAMENT. (Received 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, May 26. The King and Queen were present yesterday at the opening of the performance of the Royal Tournament at Olympia. The Prince of Wales is today visiting the tournament, which is held annually in support of the Services charities. INDIANS BEATEN. HAMPSHIRE WINS BY INNINGS. (Received 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 26. In the cricket match between Hampshire and All India the county made 273. The Indians, who were dismissed for 51 in the- first innings, scored 119 in the second, Hampshire thus winning by an innings and 103 runs. RECORD MILE RUN. N.Z. STUDENT'S PEAT. LONDON, May 26. The New Zealander J. Lovelock, representing Oxford University in a match against an Amateur Athletic Association team, won the mile in 4.12, a British amateur record.
