ENGINEER RESIGNS.
WELLINGTON HARBOUR BOARD MR. JAMES 'MARCHBANKS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. Formal notice of the resignation of Mr. James Marchbanks, general manager and chief engineer of the Wellington Harbour Board, was received at last evening's meeting of tho board. Mr. James Marchbanks, M.lnst. C.E., has been general manager and engineer of the Wellington Harbour Board for some years. In 1921 he was a member of the commission on Palmerston North railway facilities, and in 1930 was chairman of the Auckland Harbour BridgeCommission.
