UNION CO.'S STEAMERS

The Kaponga was barbound at Greymouth yesterday, but is expected to sail fof Auckland this afternoon. The Karepo was barbound at Weetport yesterday, but. is expected to sail to-day for Grevmouth to fill up for Auckland. Th« "Wingatui is expected to clear Lytteiton this afternoon for Wellington aud Auckland. The Waimarino sails at noon to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and The VValplata leaves Bluff to-morrow for Dunedin, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. The Karetu sailed for Newcastle last evening.

On her return trip to Sydney, the Hllil-rtnrt-Parker passenger steamer Zealandia is to sail for Sydney rrom Uio Central wharf at 11 a.m. to-morrow. NIAGARA FOR VANCOUVER. After loading local produce at the Queen's wharf, the (\ and I). Line steamer Port Darwin sails early this afternoon for London, via Cape Horn. THE NEW ZEALAND. The Texas Oil Co.'s tanker New Zealand, which was expected to arrive at Auclflaud this week from Los Angeles, has been diverted to Australia, but is to discharge next month at Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. THE GOLDEN BEAR. En route from Los Angeles to Auckland Ihe O. and <). Line steamer Golden Hear radios that she is meeting had weather, and cannot arrive until (ate to-morruw. She is to discharge the local portion of her cargo at the Queen's wharf. ISULLAREN TO DISCHARGE. To complete discharge of her cargo of South African produce, the Swedish motor ship Bullaren is due at Auckland from Wellington at. 4 p.m. to-day. After discharge at the Prince's wharf she is to sail for Sydney to-iuorrow.

The Superintendent of Mercantile Marino advises that dredging operations are In progress at the entrance to the inner harbour at Napier, nntl anchors marked by red or black buoys have been laid to the eastward and westward of the channel line. Masters should approach the entrance on the line of the channel with caution, and pass the dredger on the side from which a black ball is exhibited. OPAWA TO LOAD. According to her wireless report, the New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Opawa, in ballast from Glasgow, will arrive at Auckland next Saturday afternoon. She is to load for London aiid West oC England porta at Auckland, Opua, Wellington, Lyttelton, Tlmaru. Ounedln and Blurt, sailing finally for London, via Cape Horn, from Bluff, on June 21. PHOSPHATE CARGOES.
