Northcote Troop. The group was honoured with a visit from District Scoutmaster Marks on Thursday last, when the attendance was still somewhat affected by the holidays, but those present were on their mettle to xiphoid the good name of the troop (etates the scribe). Routine work was witnessed by the District Scoutmaster, who also tested the patrol leaders on various, points. After inspecting the Cub Pack he gave a short address to the troop. During the evening the G.S.M. presented to each Scout a very fine card engraved with the Scout promise and law. Those cards were trftr gift of the troop's Hon. Any old Rover Sea Scouts and others whose thoughts lie in the direction of the sea-scouting are asked to get in touch with the Sea Scout Commissioner or Metropolitan H.Q., who can direct them to the proper quarter.
