In the House of Commons, Sir John Gihnour, Secretary of Agriculture, replying to Mr. G-. Lambert (Nat.Lib., Devon), said he was aware that some Devon producers had to withhold supplies from the butter market owing to heavy New Zealand imports. Mr. Lambert asked what action was being taken to secure the British market for the Home producers. Sir John Gilmour replied: This is a matter for consideration at Ottawa. I cannot anticipate the decisions of the conference.
