HENDERSON NEWS.
A social evening, held in the Foresters' Hall, was tendered to Mrs. de Montalk by the Henderson Musical Society, for which
Mrs. de Montalk has acted as accompanist | for many years. The function was arranged by the secretary, Mr. G. Allely, and die, iiidies of tiie committee. The vice-president, | Mr. John Bush, spoke the untiring service Mrs. de Montalk had given, and on helialf of the society presented her with a mahogany timepiece. Musical items were rendered' by members of the society, and other contributing artists were Mesdames Hnrrie and Meikle, Misses Parr and R Roberts, and Messrs. WaUlron, Booth, Meikle and Allen.
