" FAKE " NEGOTIATOR.
ECHO OF LINDBERGH CASE. (Received 1.30 p.m.) HOPEWELL (New Jersey), May 17. Colonel Norman Schwarzkopf, superintendent of the State Police, announced on Tuesday that John Hughes Curtis, one of the Norfolk negotiators for the return of the Lindbergh baby, had written a complete confession that all the people with whom he told" of having negotiating, and all the boats on 'which he said he met them, were creations of his own imagination.
