OVERSEAS MARKETS.
DAIRY PRODUCE. The New Zealand Producers' Co-opera-tive Marketing Association, Limited, to-day received a cable from the London office, dated May 17, reading as follows: — Butter.—Quiet. New Zealand, 94/ to 90/; unsalted, 96/ to 100/; Danish, 100/ to 102/ Clieese.— Quiet. White, 56/ to 57/; coloured, 56/ to 57/. Messrs. Joseph Nathan ■ and Co. have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, Tooley Street, dated May 17:— Butter.—9s/ per" cwt. Cheese.—White and coloured, 56/ per cwt. Both markets quiet. LONDON WOOL SALES. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 17. For the wool sales on May 24 there are available 184,500 bales, including new arrivals 19,500, Australian 40,000. Of >.ew Zealand it is expected that about 12j,000 will be catalogued.
Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, dated 1/th instant:—The following vessels in which we are interested have arrived in time for the sales: Westmoreland, Mania, Otira, Coptic, Zealandic, Tamaroa, Port Brisbane, Taranaki, Anglo Canadian. The list of arrivals closed on the 17th. The total quantity available: Australian, 19,500 bales; New Zealand, 40,000 bales; Cape, 5500 bales; South America, 22,500 bales; carry forward, 97,000 bales. Brokers expect to offer 125,000 bales, including 39,650 bales Australian, 55,550 bales; New Zealand, 7300 bales Cape, 23,000 bales South American; carried forward, 161,200 bales. We will sell on the 2nd, 7th and Bth June. The sales close on June 8.
