ASSAULTED HIS WIFE.
BAY OF PLENTY FARMER FINED.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHAKATANE, Tuesday. John Henry Moody, farmer, of Awakeri, appeared before Mr. S. L. Paterson, S.M., in the Magistrate's -Court on a charge of assaulting his wife. He was fined £10, in default one month's imprisonment, and no time was allowed in which to pay the fine.
