Speaking on behalf of the Public Service in the Chamber of Commerce last evening Mr. H. Blackwood said he referred with diffidence to persistent rumours In Hamilton that a public servants strike was imminent. They considered that strike talk was a further attempt to belittle them. "We have been pestered everywhere by people asking when we are going out on strike," Mr. Blackwood declared.
