LIVE STOCK MARKETS.

GISBORNE CATTLE FAIR. At the Gisborne autumn cattle fair an entry of 0000 head necessitates a threedays' fair. Of beef cattle there ,is a large entry with a good part unfinished. Bullocks realised to £4 5/; cows, £2 12/G; Jersey cows, 25/. In stores there is an entry of 3000 steers, 2%-years and upwards, in good condition. Quality bullocks, big, forward, brought £3 5/; Rood, £2 15/ to £3; average, £2 5/ upwards: 2%-year steers, quality, £1 17/ to £2 3/; average, £17/ upwards. There was a fair amount of withdrawals, although most vendors met the market.
