THE SEVEN MATCH STAR PUZZLE.
The puzzle is to place seven matches one at a time on any one of the eight points. When placing tho matches one end of the star must be left free. For example, you can start at D, place one on B, but you cannot go from B to H. You can go from F to H.
Solution. —Start at D, place No. 1 on B, G to D No. 2, E to G No. 3, C to E No. 4, B to H No. 5, A to F No. 6, C to A No. 7. MOLLY CURTIN. 24, Church Street, Ponsonby.
