RECTOR CHARGED.
Alleged to Have Pestered Shop Girls. EVIDENCE IN ENGLAND. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, April 1. Interest continues unabated in tlie case in which the Eev. Harold Davidson, rector of Stiffkey, Norfolk, is charged before the Norwich. Consistory Court with a serieß of grave acts of misconduct, including constant association with women of reputedly loose character. Evidence was given that the Eev. Davidson pestered girls at teashops. At °ne shop lie was called "The Mormon," and at another lie was assaulted by an employee, and the company had to pay him £200 as compensation.
