SHIPPING NEWS.
SIERRA IN PORT. NIAGARA DUE MONDAY. Delayed by stormy weather in the Tasman Sea, the passenger steamer Sierra did not arrive at Auckland until noon to-day, five hours behind schedule. She berthed at the Prince's wharf, whence she is to sail for San Francisco, via Suva, Pago Pago and Honolulu at C p.m. to-day. Also from Sydney, the R.M.s. Niagara is due at Auckland at daybreak on Monday, to berth at the Prince's wliarf. She is to sail for Suva, Honolulu and Vancouver on Tuesday. Two steamers will be loading at Auckland for London next week, the Port Ma pier, which is due from Newcastle to-morrow, and the Piako, which is due from Wellington on Monday morning. The Port Napier is to berth at the Queen's wharf and the Piako at the Central wharf.

Having completed discharge of her phosphate cargo, the steamer Triona is to sail again for Nauru early this afternoon. MIDDLESEX SAILED. To continue discharge of her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp, the Federal steamer Middlesex sails for Wellington early this afternoon. TARANAKI FOR LONDON. Now loading at the Queen's wharf, the S.S and A. Line motor ship Taranaki, is to sail at 0 p.m. 011 Monday for Southampton and London, via Cape Horn. THE CANADIAN CRUISER. According to her wireless report the Canadian National steamer Canadian Cruiser, with general cargo from Halifax, will arrive at Auckland next Tuesday morning. Having left Wellington at 0.35 a.m. today, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Piako is due at Auckland at daybreak on Monday. From Japan, via Australian ports and Wellington, the motor ship Sydney Maru arrived at Auckland this morning.
