RUGBY FOOTBALL
WHANGAREI OLD BOYS. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WHANGAREI, this day. The annual meeting of the Old Boys' Rugby Club was well attended last night. The report showed that the senior team had won the championship after many years, that the juniors' won their section and that the third graders were runners-up in their competition. Officers elected for 1032 are:—Patron, Mr. A. R. Ryder ; president. Mr. C. Collins; vice-presidents, Messrs. H. Carruth, J. Bethell, R. Blundell; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Sligo; delegates to Itugby Union, Messrs. C. Collins, G. Foote; club captain. Mr. J. Britland; committee, Messrs. Jj. Miller, M. Sheriff, G. Foote, G. Grant, T. Cullen, C. Knew; coacli and manager, senior, Mr. A. Sligo ; junior, Mr. T. Wakelin ; thirds, Mr. G. Grant. It is hoped to arrange a match with the Auckland Training College In Whangarei, prior to the commencement of competition games.
