AUTUMN MODELS WORN. Smart New Hats.
A blue sky and brilliant sunshine brought a large number of very attractivß models to Avondale to-day, when the Avondale Jockey Club held their first meeting of the autumn season. Tailored lines were the order of the day, and trim suits and ensembles were seen. Where materials of a light weight were worn, the frocks were accompanied by beautiful furs, and nearly every smart woman wore one of the new little felt hats that perch so amusingly over one eye.
