PRESENTATION.

The presentation of a 14-day striking clock -was made last evening to Mr. Joseph Dodgson, who has retired at 74 years of age, after 42 years' service with the Auckland City Council. The presentation was made by the city engineer, Mr. J. Tyler, who referred to Mr. Dodgson's fine record of service. When Mr. Dodgson started with the Auckland City Council single horse drays only were used.
