BASKETBALL.

AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. NO TEAM FOR N.Z. TOURNEY. The report presented at the annual meeting of the Auckland Basketball Association showed that during the past season 7S teams, representing 47 affiliated clubs, played under the control of the association. The president, Miss Lee, presided. Officers elected : President. Miss F. E. Lee: vice-presidents. Mrs. Waters. Miss Miles, Mr. MeKenzie; secretary, Miss M. Cambridge: treasurer. Miss M. iStonex; auditor. Mr. G. T. Lee; stewards, Miss J. Xagle, Miss G. Miles. It was decided, owing to the cost of travelling expenses, that Auckland should not send a representative team to compete in the 1932 Dominion tournament at Invercargill. A referees' association was formed.

Entries for competitions close on April 23.
