OBSCENE LIBEL.
N.Z. WRITER'S APPEAL FAILS. LONDON, March 9. The appeal has been dismissed of Geoffrey de Montalk, described as a New Zealand poet, who was sentenced on February 8 to six months' imprisonment in the second division for publishing an obscene libel.
