BUTTER VERY FIRM,
Messrs. Leonard and Son are in receipt of the following cabled advice from Mr. A. C. Rowson, dated London, Bth instant:—Butter: Market very firm, 112/, with upward tendency. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. has received the following cable from its London house, dated March 9:—Butter: 111/ to 112/ per cwt. Cheese: 61/ to 62/ per cwt. Markets quiet. Messrs. Josepu Nathan and Co. have received the following cable from their London principals, Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, dated London, March 9: —Butter: 110/ to 111/ per cwt. Cheese: New Zealand, white, 01/ per cwt; coloured, 62/. Both quiet.
