BIG CATCH OF SNAPPER.
A party of 14 men had a fine haul of fish yesterday when they caught 800 snapper outside the Manu'kau Bar. The party left Onelmnga at 4 a.m. in the To Toa, and finding the bar smooth went over to one of the well-known fishing grounds where they found fish in abundance. They returned at 4.30 p.m. many of them with sore hands through hauling in the fish.
