EXTRA MONTH FOR PRISONER.

Malcolm McDonald, a young man, who is at present serving a three months' sentence in Mount Eden, was brought to the Police Court to-day and pleaded guilty to a charge of stealing a suit and pair of braces., valued at £8 10/, the property of Robert Hugh Burns, at Christchurch on November 2 last. Detective Sergeant Kelly said complainant was employed as a stable hand at Riccarton. Accused stole the suit and came to Auckland. After perusing McDonald's list of previous convictions, "Mr. Hunt ordered a further month's imprisonment.
