MAUNGAWHAU SCHOOL.
With the help of the school committee, a preliminary meeting was held at the Maungawhau School last evening to decide upon the formation of a past students' association. There was a large attendance. The following were elected to carry on the introductory work: Chairman, Mr. J, G. Turner; hon. secretary, Mr. F. D. Grataaii; committee, Misses D. Gordon, McCarthy, Messrs. K. Treacher, G. R. Tutt, E. Lane. It was decided to invite past students to join the association.
