ALEXANDER MINES

During February the Alexander Mines (Reefton) crushed 454 tons of ore for a return of 2850z 15dwt of melted gold. In addition, 283 tons of sand were treated for a return of 990 x 17tlwt of bullion. The estimated value of the gold is £1404, exclusive of the premium on sale in London and the premium on exchange.
